21 December 2014 – Capital! Steampunk Christmas Picnic

Merry Skully!Capital! Steampunk’s mascot Skully is VERY excited – it’s his first Christmas picnic, and he wants you to come too.

Meet at the Wellington Tramway Museum at the MacKay’s Crossing entrance to Queen Elizabeth Park, just past Paekakariki, at 11am on Sunday 21 December.  There should be some spare car seats heading out there; email us if you need a ride or can offer one.

Your $10 entrance fee gets you unlimited tram rides to the beach and back all day, plus entrance to the museum itself.  Bring a blanket to sit on, sunscreen, picnic goodies to share and a Secret Santa present (under $10).  Santa himself will be present, and no, it’s not just Skully in a hat, fetching though it is.  There’ll be games, and maybe even a treasure hunt.

The day will of course be rather weather dependent, but we’ve been fortunate so far this year.  We’ll post updates both here and on Facebook if it looks dodgy nearer the day.

And don’t forget to wear your very best steampunk picnic outfit – you’ll want to look your best for our final outing for the year.
