27 September 2015 – Flaming Nora’s Cavalcade of Tomfoolery

Flaming Nora!  This sounds like a jolly amusing thing to do on a Sunday.

Have a look here to see what the Flaming Noras are all about, but in two words: dressing up and having a parade.

To celebrate (we hope) the end of winter, Capital! Steampunk will be joining the Noras for their Cavalcade of Tomfoolery.  You don’t have to dance, sing or recite Shakespeare (although nobody will mind if you do, particularly all at once); just dress interestingly and come along.

Meet at Frank Kitts Park for the parade briefing at 1.45pm – you shouldn’t have any trouble finding the participants.  The parade moves off along the waterfront at 2 and finishes in Waitangi Park … whenever we get there.

Afterwards there may well be opportunities for tea.  See you there.
