Modelcrafts and Hobbies has generously given us the use of the ‘spare’ half of their shop for CubaDupa, and also for a couple of hours beforehand to try out the course or get a few tips from other teapot racers on how to complete your own racing teapot.
Come along to the shop at 125 Victoria Street, Wellington, between 1 and 3pm on Saturday 20 February for a very informal session – even splendid attire is optional. We’ll have most of the obstacles there so you can get a feel for how your teapot behaves, or even just to make sure you’re familiar with the rules. We can share driving, construction and embellishment tips, and Modelcrafts and Hobbies will be open for any last-minute bits you might need (or first-minute, if you haven’t got a car to put under your teapot yet!).
Remember, this is only a month out from CubaDupa itself. Get building.
